Polypropylene

Polypropylene (PP) is light and highly resistant to acids, alkalis and many aqueous chemicals. Together with the elastomers the wetted housing determines the chemical resistance of the pump.

Suitable for

Acids, alkalis, plating baths, water-based chemicals – limited with solvents and high temperatures.

Typical applications

Acids: mineral and organic acids
Pickling agents: sodium, potassium and magnesium hydroxides and carbonates, lime slurries
Electroplating: aggressive acids and salts, residual sludges, waste water, neutralisation, caustic soda, ferric chloride
Water: DI water, distilled water, raw, salt, brackish, waste and condensate water
