Cast iron

Cast iron is particularly robust and wear-resistant with abrasive, neutral fluids. Together with the elastomers the wetted housing determines the chemical resistance of the pump.

Suitable for

Slurries, waste water, oils and abrasive fluids – not for acids.

Typical applications

Waste water & sludge: waste water, filter press feed, sewage sludge, softening and lime sludges, coal and coke slurries
Abrasives: clay slip, titanium dioxide, sinter materials, lime slurries, cements, scale
Drilling: drilling mud, bentonite, lubricants, plaster mortar
Cements & powders: mortar, diatomaceous earth, fillers with and without additives
