Air-operated diaphragm pumps with FDA-compliant wetted materials for food, beverages, cosmetics and pharma. The elastomers comply with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and EU regulations (EC) 1935/2004 and 2023/2006 – see the data sheet of each version for exact conformity.

AODD pumps handle products gently without shear – pieces such as fruit or curd remain intact. For sanitary connections also choose Tri-Clamp.

Typical applications

Food & beverages: juices, beer, wort, mash, yeast, must, quark, yoghurt, pudding, chocolate, ketchup
Cosmetics: toothpaste, shampoo, soap, emulsions, detergents
Pharma: liquids, creams and additives

Consider density and viscosity

Density and viscosity of the fluid are decisive for the selection – they have a considerable influence on the effective flow rate. Viscous fluids such as resins, adhesives or chocolate reduce the flow significantly and require larger suction lines and a slower stroke rate. Heavy fluids such as slurries or cements increase the required air pressure. Please state density (kg/dm³) and viscosity (mPa·s) in your enquiry.
